6. How do you confirm burning performance and product safety?
For customized finished candles, the vessel, wax, wick, fragrance, and fill level are evaluated as a complete product system. Sample approval and any required burn testing or safety testing are confirmed before mass production.
Testing and labeling requirements vary by destination market. Relevant ASTM, EN, or other customer-specified standards can be discussed during product development.
7. Can every glass vessel be used as a candle container?
No. Glass vessels intended for candles must be suitable for the heat and conditions created during burning. Decorative containers and diffuser bottles should not automatically be treated as candle vessels.
Please confirm the intended use when making an inquiry so that the appropriate vessel and testing requirements can be considered. ASTM maintains a specific standard for glass containers produced for candle use.
8. Can I order samples, and what is the MOQ?
Our usual MOQ is 500 pieces, depending on the product, vessel finish, formula, packaging, and customization requirements. Smaller trial orders may be discussed.
A limited number of standard samples can be provided free of charge, while courier costs are usually paid by the buyer. Charges may apply for multiple samples, finished sets, customized fragrances, special finishes, new molds, or customized packaging. All costs will be confirmed before sample production or shipment.
9. What is the sample and production lead time?
Lead time depends on whether the vessel is an existing model or a new design, as well as the surface finish, candle formula, packaging, quantity, and material availability. The sample schedule and mass-production lead time will be confirmed after the product details have been finalized.
10. How do you control product quality?
For candle vessels, checks may cover dimensions, appearance, surface finish, color, and accessory fit. For finished candles, checks may also include fill weight, wick position, candle surface, labeling, packaging, and other confirmed product requirements.
Any specific inspection method, burn-test plan, performance requirement, or third-party testing should be agreed upon before production.
